Dan Last has more than a decade of experience in business, education and sustainability, often working at the intersection of all three areas. Having spent the early part of his career as in education as a teacher, advisor, coach, and in admissions, he decided to pursue his passion for sustainable business by obtaining an MBA from the Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado, Boulder.
After leaving Leeds, Dan began work at AtSite, a multidisciplinary professional services company helping organizations create and transform their buildings and spaces into high-performing assets. With AtSite, Dan had the opportunity to manage a $3M Green Revolving Fund for a large healthcare client in Maryland.Under Dan’s oversight, the GRF invested in more than 40 projects which collectively have an annual savings of $1.5M. Dan is currently working with SEI to develop a pooled revolving fund concept that will enable more organizations with limited resources to utilize GRFs.
Dan combines his detailed understanding of education with his expertise managing cost reduction through energy and sustainability programs. He is passionate about making organizations more efficient and has the opportunity to live out that passion every day in his work. In his free time, he likes to hike, run, read, and spend time with his wife, son, and two dogs.
