The Sustainable Endowments Institute has a track-record of leading successful workshops for college and university endowment officials in a number of settings. A brief sampling of workshops include:

Shareholder Engagement and Jesuit University Endowment Management
Sponsored by the President's Office of Fairfield University, this half-day workshop was attended by the President and senior staff of the university. Along with a presentation by the Institute's Mark Orlowski, other speakers represented the Bangor Center for Corporate Ethics, the U.S. Jesuit Conference, and the Rockefeller Brothers Fund.

Green Mountain Summit on Investor Responsibility
For the past three years, Executive Director Mark Orlowski has assembled and moderated a panel of experts for this annual summit of institutional investors.

Opal's Endowment and Foundation Forum
Executive Director Mark Orlowski was invited to organize and led a plenary session which attracted 200+ endowment officials.

Vermont Shareholder Engagement Workshop
The Institute and Vermont State Treasurer Jeb Spaulding brought together leaders representing 15 Vermont colleges. This workshop at the historic Vermont State House was the first time that a state treasurer's office joined with colleges and a nonprofit organization to discuss how institutional investors can impact corporate policies ranging from corporate governance to climate change. The event was co-sponsored by the University of Vermont and Vermont Law School.

We welcome inquiries about, and invitations to, workshops.
